Our primary objective as sitters is to ease the guilt experienced by pet parents, particularly those managing work and home life, and provide them with peace of mind. When you enlist the services of a professional, your cat or kitten can stay in the comfort of their home, surrounded by familiar items such as their bed, toys, smells, and sounds. They can maintain their regular diet and exercise routine. Additionally, they will receive personalized attention and care tailored to their specific needs.
At Nashville Kitty Sitter, we understand the importance of trust when it comes to caring for your pets in your home. As the owner and solo sitter, I want to assure you that I have undergone a thorough background check to ensure my trustworthiness and provide you with peace of mind.

Here are the reasons why daily visits from Nashville Kitty Sitter are essential while you are away:
Feeding and Hydration: Cats and kittens require regular meals and access to fresh water. Daily visits ensure they receive their scheduled feedings and remain hydrated throughout your absence.
Litter Box Maintenance: Cats are particular about cleanliness and prefer clean litter boxes. Daily visits allow the sitter to clean the litter box regularly, promoting your cat's comfort and hygiene.
Health Monitoring: Daily visits enable the sitter to monitor your cat's health. They can observe for any signs of illness, injuries, or changes in behavior, ensuring early detection and prompt veterinary care if necessary.
Social Interaction and Playtime: Cats thrive on social interaction and playtime. Daily visits provide your cat with attention, companionship, and engaging activities, preventing boredom and loneliness.
Home Security: Regular visits help maintain the security of your home. The sitter can check for any unusual activities, ensure doors and windows are secure, and create a lived-in appearance, deterring potential burglars.
By having Nashville Kitty Sitter visit your cat or kitten daily while you are on vacation, you can ensure their essential needs are met, their health is monitored, and they receive the companionship and care they require.
Nashville Kitty Sitter is experienced and able to administer topical medications, oral medications, as well as insulin and allergy shots when needed. However, it's important to note that Nashville Kitty Sitter will not attempt to administer medications for complex and aggressive cats or kittens. The safety and well-being of the pet and the sitter are paramount; in such cases, seeking alternative options, such as professional veterinary care or specialized handling by a trained professional, is recommended.
For liability reasons, Nashville Kitty Sitter does not permit combined care with friends, family, or other sitting companies. As stated in the pet sitting contract, Nashville Kitty Sitter will be the sole provider of care until the client returns. This policy ensures consistency, accountability, and the best possible care for your pets during your absence.
During the Meet & Greet with Nashville Kitty Sitter, you’ll meet Kerri-Ann, the owner and sole sitter. This visit gives your cat a chance to get comfortable while we review your care instructions, tour the relevant areas of your home, and go over any questions you may have. If it feels like a good fit for both of us, we’ll move forward with scheduling your cat’s care.
It is essential to reserve a date for pet care services to ensure availability. If a date is not reserved, it may be assigned to another client needing care. Providing as much notice as possible, particularly during holidays and summer, is highly recommended. However, Nashville Kitty Sitter acknowledges that emergencies can occur, and in such cases, please contact the sitter regardless of the notice, and they will do their best to accommodate your needs.
Nashville Kitty Sitter operates with a morning, afternoon and evening window for visit appointments, except for pets with specific medication or medical needs requiring an exact time. While efforts will be made to accommodate client preferences, Nashville Kitty Sitter does not guarantee specific time slots. Pet sitting hours are scheduled between 7 AM and 5 PM. If clients request visits once a day, the sitter will attempt to place that visit within the desired time frame, but there is no guarantee of exact timing as we utilize route scheduling for efficiency.
